Winter Break Week at Elbridge Free


Children's Art Class
Monday, February 18 - 1:00PM

Learn to paint your favorite Super Hero.
No painting experience necessary.  All supplies will be provided.

Magic Show with Ron Cain
Wednesday, February 20 - 6:30PM

The audience will help the Magician read his magical map and decipher clues.  His show features a dragon's lair, a hunted ghost town and much, much more.  
Children of all ages are welcome.

Move to the music, using instruments, bean bags and more.  There will be book reading and free playtime.  For children ages 1 and older.  Adults are welcome to participate with the children.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
It is never too early to start reading to your child.  To promote reading to newborns, infants and toddlers Elbridge Free Library and Jordan Bramley Library are sponsoring this program.  For each 100 books read, your child will receive a prize.  When they have read and recorded 1000 books, they will receive a T-shirt.  Simply stop by the library to pick up your reading record.  You may read the same book several times. 
One child just received a prize for their first 100 books read.  Congratulations!!!

3-Dimensional Greeting Cards

Monday, March 4 - 6:00 PM

Design and create four, 3-dimensional greeting cards.

STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.

Do you enjoy reading, but are unable to come into the library?

Consider trying our free Library To You service. You can choose from a selection of regular print books, large print books, Magazines, DVDs, audiobooks, and other library materials and have them delivered right to your doorstep.

To qualify for Library To You:
• Patrons must be residents of the Jordan-Elbridge School District.
• Patrons must have a disability or condition that restricts their ability to leave their home and come into the library (homebound), or be a senior citizen non-driver.

Once your application is received, a library staff member will contact you to discuss your needs and interests, and if necessary, register you for a library card. After you are accepted into the program, a library employee will deliver materials to your door at no charge.
