Programs at Elbridge Free Library

Activities on Kids Day Off

Martin Luther King Day is Monday, January 21.
Join the special activities at the Library:
10:30 am  Kids In Motion Plus
ages 1 and up.  No registration needed.

 1:00 pm  Polymer Clay Sculpting
Jonna Weaver will teach sculpting and beading techniques
ages 7 and up.  This is a free class.  Please register by calling 315-689-7111

Kids in Motion Plus!  FREE
Every Monday morning from 10:30 AM.

Move to the music, using instruments, bean bags and more.  There will be book reading and free playtime.  For children ages 1 and older.  Adults are welcome to participate with the children. 

Story time  FREE 
Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM

Enjoy great stories, crafts and snacks.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
It is never too early to start reading to your child.  To promote reading to newborns, infants and toddlers Elbridge Free Library and Jordan Bramley Library are sponsoring this program.  For each 100 books read, your child will receive a prize.  When they have read and recorded 1000 books, they will receive a T-shirt.  Simply stop by the library to pick up your reading record.  You may read the same book several times. 
One child just received a prize for their first 100 books read.  Congratulations!!!

For Adults and Children
Ages 12 and up
Art and Painting
January 28th - 6:00-8:00 PM.

With Linda Spencer  $15.00 per person, includes all supplies.
Linda will teach the different paint strokes to create beautiful masterpieces.  Choose to paint notebooks, glass wear, plates, lamp shades, etc.

TECH HELP!  If you need help downloading ebooks, audio books, music, or video, please call or drop by the library with your digital device and we will be happy to assist you.  All are welcome to experience the new hands on STEAM activities that are now available at Elbridge Free Library. STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
